Are You A Free Man?

“I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do.”

Robert A. Heinlein

  • There are 2 answers to that question.
Do I live in a country where those in charge go out of their way to enslave me in a thousand different ways?
    Yes.
Do I live as a free man as much as I can in spite of the obstacles?
    Yes.
I have no choice to do otherwise if I am true to myself.

To live free in this country, now, you must put yourself in the shoes of a convict, someone that might be caged or killed at any given minute for that is the reality of life in a tyranical environment.

    • What you say is very true, Ghostsniper, with special awareness of that last paragraph, and recognition of the daily increase in the obstacles.
