Thucydides Would Blame President Trump

I admire and respect President Trump because he fights for America. In a sense President Trump was making a one man stand in Washington D.C. during his presidency, and I acknowledge that fact, but, if Biden is in fact installed as president, Trump’s emphatic statement that “He caught them all,” will be remembered as just so much hot air, and this quote from Thucydides will be fully applicable to President Trump.

“When one is deprived of ones liberty, one is right in blaming not so much the man who puts the shackles on as the one who had the power to prevent him, but did not use it.”
